On the 1st of July, the APPG for National Parks and National Landscapes met with officials from DEFRA, alongside the Campaign for National Parks, the National Landscapes Association, National Parks England, and National Trails UK.
The All-Party Group heard from DEFRA officials about progress which has been made towards reforming National Parks governance, as well as conversations in government regarding the Protected Landscapes Duty.
The group also heard contributions from youth ambassadors regarding access to National Parks and National Landscapes.
