At COP17 in Yerevan, Barry spoke at an event hosted by the Royal Entomological Society to discuss the impact of invasive non-native species on pollinators in the UK.
This event ties in closely with the work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Bees, Pollinators, and Invertebrates, which Barry chairs. The APPG will launch its report following an inquiry into invasive species in the Palace of Westminster in November.
The UK government is currently reviewing its Pollinator Action Plan.
