Barry writes to the Chancellor regarding those slipping through the gaps of furlough

Barry has written to the Chancellor today regarding the measures put in place to help those who are self employed and employees to receive financial protection when the cease to work.

Barry is concerned about those who are slipping through the gaps and won’t be covered by these measures such as those that have only recently gone self employed and cannot provide a tax return, carers and the low paid on zero hours contracts and individuals that work a series of short PAYE contracts such as those that work on film sets.
