Barry speaks in the Fire Safety Bill

Barry contributed to todays Second Reading on the Fire Safety Bill with a powerful speech.

He focussed on the failures in the previous legislation and the futility of the regulations on fire safety when the monitoring and enforcement regime is flawed from the beginning and how this must be tightened and looked at going forward with this present legislation.
