The meeting, which will be attended by the Borough Fire Commander and representatives of the Council and all of the Housing Associations, will take place at 7.30pm on Monday the 19th June at St James' Church Alperton, 34 Stanley Avenue, Wembley, HA0 4JB.

Speaking after finishing delivering letters to residents, Barry said: "What happened in Grenfell was a tragedy. I know that many residents in Brent North will have concerns that something similar may happen here. That's why the primary purpose of this meeting will be to listen to residents and any concerns they may have about fire safety concerns and how those concerns are handled. Such tragedies as we have seen in the last week are less likely to happen where there is transparency and good communication between residents and managers of the property. It is my hope that the meeting can help ensure that this is the case."
