Barry celebrates opening of new temple in Kingsbury

On 18th November 2014 Barry was delighted to join the community for the celebration of the opening of the Shree Swaminaryan Mandir in Kingsbury.

Speaking at the event Barry said:
"I remember only too clearly how the community had outgrown their old building in Golders Green. I was especially delighted to welcome his Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj to the House of Commons when he came for the 40th Anniversary of the community and the founding of the new Mandir. Few of us will ever forget the sight of the massed ranks of the Muktajeevan Pipes and Drums marching round Trafalgar Square and down Whitehall to Parliament."
