Barry's constituency, Brent North

Brent North is one of Britain's most culturally diverse and vibrant constituencies. Since 2010 the constituency has been made up of nine electoral wards which are: Alperton, Barnhill, Fryent, Kenton, Northwick Park, Preston, Queensbury, Sudbury, and Wembley Central.
Since Labour came to power in 1997, there have been significant improvements to the constituency including the regeneration of the Chalkhill estate, the re-building of local hospitals, new children's centers and major investment in local schools which have gone from being branded by Ofsted before 1997 as 'Simply the worst schools' to some of the highest achieving state schools in the country.
Secondary Schools in Brent North include Copland Community School, Kingsbury High School, Preston Manor and Alperton Community School. The College of North West London's main campus is also situated heart in of Wembley.
The constituency boasts some of London's most beautiful parks, sites of interest and open spaces including Fryent Country Park, Roe Green Village and Silver Jubilee Park.
