Brent Labour Party is more than just a political organisation, it is an extended family for people across Brent. Of course we campaign for the Labour Party several times a week, but we also have frequent social events and try to support one another in any ways we can. If you want to join your local Labour Party please get in touch and even come along to one of our meetings and say hi before making your decision. Check out our website for more information.

Barham Park campaign

I was recently shocked to hear that the Lib Dem Councill Leader has agreed to the sale of land within the boundaries of Barham Park. I believe that parks and open spaces are the green heart of our community, and oppose any attempt to build on parks in Brent North.

If like me you believe the Councill should be protecting and improving Barham Park, rather than selling it off to build flats, please sign up to my petition. You can also post your views on the issue in the discussion are of this website.

It's only by working together that we can save our park.

If you want to help Barry’s campaign or get involved with activities in your local community then you can volunteer to be part of the Local Action Team. Barry is in the constituency every day, and can always use extra help to get things done.

Volunteering for Barry is flexible and stress-free. You can sign up for a few hours a week or a few hours a month; whatever suits you best. Volunteers help with a variety of tasks from entering data online to delivering leaflets across the constituency to telephone or doorstep canvassing.
