Barry joins community leaders for unveiling of Mahatma Gandhi statue in Westminster

On 4th March 2015 Barry joined a host of community leaders, politicians and dignitaries for the unveiling of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Westminster.

In recognition of one of the most inspirational men who ever lived who campaigned tirelessly for Indian Independence Barry said:

“It is a great honour to be here today and to mark my respect for a man who gave so much selflessly in the pursuit of independence and freedom to India. Indeed, it is through his phenomenal efforts that we now enjoy such a positive relationship between Britain and India, culturally and economically.”
